Just A Tzu's Puppy Contract
Just A Tzu's Guarantee:
Just-A-Tzu Shih Tzu's guarantee's your puppy is coming to you healthy. We guarantee our puppy to be free of hereditary defects that will keep this puppy from living a full and happy life. If there is a hereditary problem it must be documented by your veterinarian and sent to me. If a problem is found, I will return half the puppy purchase price, minus the refunds, to you if you decide to keep your puppy or you may return the puppy for a replacement of the same sex with the next available litter. This guarantee is good for the first year of your puppy's life.
Conditions of this contract:
1. Your puppy must be spayed/ neutered by 6 months of age. When this is completed send a me a statement from your vet that this has been done and receive $50.00 back from Just A Tzu Shih Tzu's. If your puppy is not spayed/neutered by 6 months of age or becomes pregnant or sires a litter this contract is null and void and Just-A-Tzu Shih Tzu's retains the right to reclaim this puppy.
2. Enter and complete a 6 -10 week obedience course with your puppy in it's first year of life, send me a copy of your certificate, and Just-A-Tzu Shih Tzu's will refund up to $25.00 toward the cost of the class but will not exceed the cost of the class. Only one refund is allowed. Puppy must be spayed/neutered to qualify for this refund!
3. If at any time you do not feel you can care for your Shih Tzu any longer, please contact me as I will always take my puppies back.
4. A deposit is required to hold your puppy. This deposit is not returned should you change your mind but in the event I am at fault it will be returned to you in a timely manner.
5. Pinched nostrils are not covered under this contract. It is a common occurence in the brachychephalic breeds and usually occurs during teething. Most of the time it is due to a swelling of the nasal passages due to the teething process. This happens when the puppy teeth come in and again around 6 months when the adult teeth come in. Given time the swelling will go down and your puppy will have a normal nose with fully open passages.
6. Color and weights are only estimates. Shih Tzu's go through many color changes as they grow so we do not guarantee adult color.
7. Puppy must be taken to your veterinarian within 3 days of possession. Please do not expose your puppy to public places or unknown animals until your veterinarian says it is safe.
